In your new job you will:

As a trusted advisor to the management, your focus will be on assisting with the procurement of raw materials, components and materials for the production of eScooter components and accessories in China. This also includes - if desired - the repeated personal exchange with our suppliers on site. With your forward-looking organizational support as well as internal and external communication, you relieve the Managing Director and are thus the „right hand” in the area of purchasing. Your tasks:
- Procurement of raw materials, components and materials for the production of eScooter components and accessories
- Monitoring and maintaining supplier relationships
- Price negotiations and contract conclusions with suppliers
- Ensuring the timely delivery of materials and quality assurance
- Close cooperation with our production team in China
- Analysis of the procurement market and identification of potential for improvement
- Cooperation with other departments to ensure a smooth production process
- Identifying suitable suppliers and conducting market analyses
- Preparation of requests for quotations, comparison of offers and selection of the best suppliers
- Negotiation of purchasing conditions, prices and contract terms
- Monitoring delivery deadlines and ensuring that goods and services are delivered on time
- Maintaining supplier relationships and establishing new partnerships
- Review and control of invoices and payments
- Responsibility for carrying out quality inspections on site in China (maximum 3-6 times a year) - if required
- Support in the optimization of procurement processes and the implementation of potential savings
- Work closely with other departments to ensure the supply chain runs smoothly
- Commercial support for all project and operational phases

You bring with you
- Successfully completed studies or technical training, preferably with a focus on purchasing, logistics or a comparable qualification with relevant experience
- Chinese language skills are mandatory
- Professional experience in purchasing, procurement or a related position, preferably in international procurement markets (especially Asia)
- High affinity for technical topics, ideally in the field of electromobility
- First experience in negotiations and contract conclusion
- Confident handling of common MS Office 365 applications, especially Excel
- Negotiating skills, strong communication skills and assertiveness
- Analytical skills and a good understanding of numbers
- Independent working style, a high degree of initiative, ability to work in a team and the ability to maintain an overview in a dynamic environment
- Reliability, discretion and a sense of responsibility
- Business fluent in German-Chinese and English, alternatively German-Arabic-Chinese
